The American Marketing Association (AMA) student organization won first-place in the annual Drake Street Painting extravaganza.

Over 450 students attended the Connect events held in Des Moines, Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City.

Meg Fisher, an entrepreneur/management and marketing major in 2009, was the guest speaker.  She is the founder of Lincoln & Lexi, a children's apparel store.

For the event, students used the tools learned in the classroom and incorporated into a real-life, complex situation.

Students have the chance to network with over 200 employers each year at career fairs and during on-campus recruiting events.
